Decorah's Famous Eagle Family

For those of you who may know of or were watching our Decorah Eagle Family, D12, the oldest of the eaglets hatched this year was found electrocuted. The Power company has put in place devices to prevent this from happening again to any other birds in the area.

Isn't it nice that it takes the death of one of those eaglets to do what should have been done?

Oh Cyndi, that is such sad news. I had watched them until they started broadcasting reruns. The last I saw they were staying on the limbs near their nest. What a terrible shame. Terry R.
