WOW, that must have been some party, or is it still going on? It was a little premature to celebrate Christmas--- so recovery during Christmas Eve is practically a neccesity. Donna is the only one who has surfaced this morning. Everyone else appears to still be asleep , even those who usually post fairly early in the day. We wonder where they fell asleep? Is the Detention Room heated at night and is the floor comfortably carpeted under the tables? For the edification of those of us unfortunate enough to be too far away to attend, please be forthcoming with details and/or photos of the festivities.
Was it still raining during the party? Or did anyone care?
Oh well, someone else will surface sooner or later.
Patience will win out in the end.
Kurt & Ann K.

I fell asleep at home after the party.

I guess I wasn't all that bad since don't have any idea where the detention rom is.

I didn't take any pictures but I can tell you it was a great evening. Gina was given a couple presents by some guy in abathrobe, santa hat, and doggy slippers. I leave the name disclosure to somebody else, his first initial is B.

Lots of good conversation, stories, and maybe even an embellishment or two, like Dave sturgeon fishing and hooking into a submarine.

Not sure about the rain, inside and nobody cared.

shhhhh.. not so loud.

A good time was had by all and it was an extreme pleasure to meet everyone. We did not take any pictures as we didn't want to have any evidence. I was NOT carrying a bottle of wine From Paul and Pat, it only looked like it

Yes, most of us overdressed. We didn't know it was a jammie party! I was being chased by two dogs that were not my dogs, but they were fuzzy friends just as well. Bill and Jacquie were the smart ones.. they got a room and dressed comfy LOL! They also have a knack for picking out presents.. thank you again, so much!

Thanks to everyone for coming and Donna for arranging. Nice and fun place and good food. Helpful folks too. Per gave me some butyl tape to stopped the water on my way home.

Thanks! Orygunions is the bestest!

Well, we didn't have to go to Detention, but we didn't make it to the Honors Bar either

Present and accounted for:
Gina D.
Bill & Jacquie G.
DaveK.
Dave&Kathie
Per Walthinson
Byron & Anne
Paul & Pat
Jackie
and a newbie to this group, Barbara B.

and ME

Did I miss anyone???

We had to hang out in the hallway (without hall passes) until the Cypress Room opened at 4pm....but, did anyone take pictures We didn't have time for pics...to busy yaking, eatin' and drinking beverages. We discussed briefly, a time table for the next Columbia River Meet...but didn't really make a decision. More on that at a later date.

As the evening wore down, some of us trekked to Bill & Jacquie's room (they spent the night..lucky dogs) where we got to see the creature comforts and scribble all over the blackboards in their room.....coool and didn't even get dirty looks from the teacher!

I had a great time and before all too soon it was time to head home.

Cool! Which room did you get, Jacquie and Bill? I always wanted to stay in the art room but stayed in the math room the last time I was there.

I'm so glad you all had a great time. I'm green with envy (but dancing!) that you got to get together.

Thanks for the reports, but without pictures you only deserve a B+.
I'm glad the experience appears worth the obstacles Mother Nature provided.
Now do your very best ...to have an absolutely joyous Christmas!!!
And we hope leaves no coal
Fellowship with family and friends is especially precious during this season. We had a blessed service tonight at Valley of the Falls Community Church. About a half dozen new faces which quickly became assimilated into the family.
We pray that all those travelling, return home safely.

Yes, we all had a good time. We had Room 20, the Myrtle Room, the other half was Mrs. Drew's Room. In the Explanation of Room Names, Myrtle was the street now called Simpson Street, and Mrs. Drew taught there in the '60s. One whole wall still has the chalk boards , chalk and erasers. The 'kids' we took on the guided tour were too busy drawing; I don't think they even saw the room
In the morning, we went to the Soaking Pool, which seemed to be about 90 degrees. It was very relaxing.
We were home in time to spend Christmas Eve with the grandkids.

Check out Bill's Dogs! When he tells Jacquie he's going to Walk The Dogs....he doesn't mean the kind that bark!
