Naming your trailer

We have 5 acres on a small private lake. Our plans were to
get new jobs (we did) plan our dream home (we did) and after
selling my business we even had the money to make it happen.
UNTIL my heart problems became to severe to leave a big city
for the country! After millions of dollars in medical bills we still
have the property on the lake and to make a long story short
we call our Burro The Lake House. When it's just me and her
(the Burro that is) I call her Betty in honor of the first heart
transplant in Wisconsin! I am number 790.

Taco and Enchilada

TV is a Tacoma named Taco and 17' Casita is Enchilada - it's a combo plate. When I wrapped the Enchilada for the winter it became Burrito.

We are still in the naming stage, but we are leaning toward Cloud 9 for our Bigfoot Silver Cloud since it makes us restful and happy. Still to be finalized!

There's even a logo for you! Although it really was for the Cloud 9 brand trailer

Our little fiberglass motorcycle trailer, a Legacy Harley or Gold Wing type, we call "Shelly" as it opens like a clam shell. We use it for hauling things beyond what'll fit in our van for local runs. It was also what Mike Rowe in Dirty Jobs called a Shetland pony who refused to turn her head toward him, "Look at me, Shelly...Lots of girls have big feet..."

We're thinking about "Peanut" for our 16-foot amerigo, as it's a shell with two nuts in it.

Also thinking about "Masha" since from my childhood, we called these things marshmallow trailers, and that was what a funny dinosaur was called in "Caveman" as a play on "Marsha" from the Brady Bunch..."Masha, masha, masha!" was the warning the cavemen would yell out.

We've gone through a huge list of names trying to find the right one.

Also considering "Sandy," as in "Correct me if I'm wrong, Sandy," from Caddyshack.

Don't want to steal anyone else's name, so we're trying our darndest not to use, "The Trailer" for her.

While it was brown and the PO had it, they called it "Wilma." For a while I called it "Root Beer Wilma" because of the color, but the charm wore off fast with that. Anyway, she's white now, so that'd be obsolete, anyway.

The first time I camped with mine was at River Bend men's camp with my boys. It's been known as "Bender" ever since. So if I go off on a Bender...

What a great thread! We bought our 2014 17' LD Casita last Monday. In a couple days we were calling her Pearl. We needed a more flexible solution to see family more often. We headed west yesterday. Tomorrow we'll arrive to all the hugs and laughs & go from homesick to making happy memories. Pearl showed up at the right time, in the right circumstance, with the right deal. Priceless.

I am 7 hours south of Grande Prairie. I will be up there in August to attend their first ever Bear Creek Folk Festival. They sure have a nice lineup.

I named my Scamp "Toadstool." Sort of a play on words.
