True enough. But then, it's the play on words I've always loved.

It's still a word play on different definitions of "tense." But yours is more fun because of the different spelling and the camping connection. Clever!

Thanks Jon. To be honest, I think most fiberglass trailer owners are 'Past tents'. Many are former tent campers, as we are.

We will celebrate 43 years of blissful marriage the end of the month. Our honeymoon in summer of '74 was backpacking into the Rocky Mountain National Park with a 6# 2-1/2 man Eureka tent on my back pack. Over the years we acquired 3 sons, and they all grew up tent camping. Our biggest tent back when they were all in Junior and/or high school was a Eureka Northwoods Lodge, a two room 9 X 16 tent that was a bear to set up. Travel trailers are so much easier! My youngest two are still tent campers and our middle son is bringing his sons up tent camping.

We'll be back to the Rocky Mountain National Park next month, but it's all flying and driving, and maybe a bit of hiking. The elevation change is sure to tax us old souls!

Frank

My Casita is: Ehwaz-"eh-was" Literally: "horse" Symbolizes: forward energy and movement
Ehwaz is the reconstructed Proto-Germanic (my ancestry is Viking) name of the Elder Futhark e rune "ᛖ", meaning "horse".
Okay...the horse part is right for me...I've always worked with them & loved em'!
The rune Ehwaz represents journeys, distant places and events which have not yet transpired.
It all fits...a horsewoman and traveling!

Introducing The Argo

The EggCamper will be The Argo. Based on Jason and the Argonauts. DH Kim plays harp and we love to adventure. Our moniker will be The Egg-centric Argonauts

Jason's quest was for the Golden Fleece. Our quest is to be determined.

Since our Scamp 16' was much modified with windows moved and fiberglass patch panels scarfed in and a bad paint job we called it FrankenScamp.
After we finished the mods, painted it and took it home to Backus for an awning we shortened it to just "Frank".
Frank has followed us about 20 K miles so far covering Yellowstone, Glacier National Park and now planning a trip to the Grand Canyon and South West.

Do you have a before and after picture? Sounds like Frank has been on some great adventures

Is it bigger inside than it is on the outside?

Peanut kind of seems like that.

Trailer names

I wanted a name that reflects that I am a female who is exploring on my own. I did research woman explorers and came upon Calamity Jayne who was a early explorer in the Wild West. She is know for her time in the Wild West show also. As a girl I rode horses and knew all about Calamity Jane. Of course my name is Jayne so it makes scenes that I call her Calamity.
