Lynn, what breed is yours?? I'm glad for the dogs sake that it's an indoor show. Good luck with your show.

Our daughter and her husband show in Agility. She runs Pixie an Italian Gray Hound...he runs Gimble, a Pembroke Welch Corgi.

If anyone from here is going/showing might be able to meet up for a chat and coffee. Just thought it would be fun to see if anyone else was going for any reason.

Nowhere near, but just wanted to say, I have corgis, too! I'd for sure watch Gimble if I were going to be there.

My poodle has a bum knee so no agility for her, and I'm not athletic enough for that sport but I do enjoy watching it and have some friends who are really in to it. I also am too far away.

Four Paws Kingdom (campground)

My border collie is almost 8 months old. "Mister LouLou Glitzy"...goes by Lou. He'll be doing an 'agility boot camp' in October at Four Paws Kingdom a dog catered campground. I'm so excited to get him started! I sure wish i could meet you at the dog show for coffee and to cheer them on....maybe another time

He is WILD AND CRAZY over a disc or a ball...i mean WILD! I've never owned a dog this athletic. My 14 yo border collie never had it in her.

(and on a side note...Whoohoo i learned to add pics!!!!!!)

Sorry we could not have all been at Reliant today...it would be nice to see the runs, play with the dogs, buy lots of stuff, set down for a nice visit about camping and dogs.

Maybe next year! It would be nice to see my FGRV friends in person,I already feel like I know y'll,why we could almost call it a reunion.

Don't have all the updates for the day yet but do know Pixie had one Q ( DD's IG )will find out tonight what she did on run#2 ;as well as how son in law did on his 2 runs

Found out today daughter was running her Stander Party Poodle in the puppy group today too,but that run was not until 5/5:30 and we had to get back home.

Thanks for all the very nice replys

Happy Camping

I was doing agility when I first got the Campster, but my dogs "aged out" (the only one who could do it now has epilepsy and doesn't handle the long days well.) We used to do CPE at WAG quite often. I might get back to it again someday with a younger dog but I'm not sure- it's one of those all-consuming things! There is or was someone else here who had a little FGRV at WAG (a Scamp?).

I really liked having the trailer at agility- not having to get up early to drive to the site or drive to a motel after the day is over really helps lower the stress.
