I never thought of this trick for the cord area. I'm so tired of having to stop and go inside, lift the cushion raise the cord from around the converter, go back outside....well..yall know the story if you've been there.

I like it and will pursue it!!! Thanks for sharing!

Also got a 9" wide trash can that fits perfectly under the back bench in my Independence to hold the cheap water bottles use.

How about a grocery store hack - took the wrappers from the Asian pears and slip them around the cups and glass jars to stop them banging together. Another camper I met used the little bubble wrappers sleeves from packaging for the same purpose.

I used bra washing machine protectors inside an insulated lunch bag for my previous Uhaul

I agree with Alf on that LA Awsome all purpose cleaner. That stuff works great and it is available at any of the dollar type stores including Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Family Dollar, and even Big Lots.

Be sure to rinse the Awesome off quickly as it can ruin the finish. I took the enamel finish off of my house bathtub when I soaked some oven grates in it. I use Awesome products all the time because they do work and for $1 they can't be beat.

Claire, I LOVE these little things! Last year I bought Asian pears I didn't think I wanted just to GET those wrappers! I use them around some square glass jars my sister sent me (from Houston to California) because we are both container freaks and understand one another. So these are small canisters in the trailer that use space very efficiently because of their shape. Some kind of organic coffee came in them, and the pear wrappers just fit.

We don't carry glass drinking glasses, but I do have some special china coffee mugs. These all fit inside a plastic drawer with acrylic glasses in between to keep them safe.

I think my husband suspects that outfitting the trailer is a bit like "playing house."

He may be right

Linda, it's not very gourmet! I posted details about how it went together here: DO baking on Coleman stove?

I have some photos of the process and the results I still would like to post on that thread.
