Next weekend is campground opening weekend for those with winter closures!

I like that I can go down into the desert and "urban" areas in the winter, but I am ready for a change of scenery!

My Oregon trip this year doesn't count as most I saw was the inside of my trailer and rain!

Ahh, Come on Gina. No Oregon trip is complete without rain. I don't think we've managed a trip with the Scamp yet without some rain.

To a Southern Californian, rain is a 4-letter word!

Southern Californians think they will melt in it.

I don't mind a few days rain, or even constant drizzle while camping. I prefer a drizzle and fog, actually. But THAT was drowning weather!

As far as I can see, up here, with the exception of the highest elevation camps.. our campgrounds on the mountain could be open 365. They must not have hosts, or funding for that.
