"Dub-Box"

Has anyone seen this? A fibreglass VW bus replica camper trailer. Looks like fun!

HOME - Dub-Box USA

And this:

Dub Box USA announces itself as an American manufacturer of retro, lightweight, customizable campers with many uses - EIN News

Sorry if this is a duplication.

A cute little unit. Here are a couple other threads on it.

The mold was built directly from 2 VW busses put together. I read a description of how the British developers made the first ones.

Hmmmmm.... Must be British thing. Kinda appropriate seeing that VW just announced stopping building vans worldwide this past month.

BUT: There was also the fiberglass VanMate built in the US about 20 years ago that looked all the world like a Dodge van(s) was used for the mold. I looked at one here in CA and posted on it about 3 years back. Only one I ever saw though.

Thanks for bringing up the "Dub-Box" again as I missed the previous postings or dismissed them 'cause it was a European thing. I LOVE the look of it and the (relatively) huge bed! When I started looking for camping options I considered the Vanagon but found they would not fit the bill for a variety of reasons! It seems as though this trailer is a bit pricey for what you get. I do LOVE my Scamp but the Dub-Box would have been considered at the time of my purchase (except for the high price). Does anyone know the price of the do-it-yourself kit? Does the stove run on propane? If so, where is the tank kept?
