I was poking around my local junk yard, er,..... recycler and they had a mound of new 1/4x20x1" stainless bolts. I grabbed a pound, which is a lifetime supply for me at this age. Total - $1.00.

How about the quantity referenced, the governing quantity, the quantity by which other quantities are measured as a percentage thereof? Or, the denominators are different? Or it's an obscure illustration of how to front load markup to back fill profit margin? Or what a confuzzlin development? Or search me?
