Early Bolers (1970 and down) - Frames un boxed?

I know that the early models have different frames than the later ones but I found out today that most Boler frames are fully boxed while mine is not (its open on the inner sides).

Just curious whether others have this as well?

Mine seems to have some minor "waves" on the tongue indicative of some stressing and flexing in the past so I assume this is why they went to fully boxed ones.

Notice in the pic its not fully boxed and is rather wavey as a result:

Kurt, my 1970 also has an unboxed frame. the picture is when I first saw the trailer. i have since pulled off the propane bottle, and started to clean up the frame a bit, and haven't noticed any "waves" thus far, although I may crawl under and take a closer look throughout hte frame. We are thinking about lifting the trailer off the frame come winter to take a good look at the frame and possible extend the tongue by about 6", so good to know what to keep an eye out for.
