Hello friends, at half past 3 a.m. everything has trembled for an hard earthquake who has destroyed eveyithing in a state very near to Rome in the middle of iTALY.
The problem is not have built new houses and the earthquake so didn't find any obstacles to kill 400 persons between children, boys, etc...
Now we pray for the seismic swarm that is hitting in this time the same place destroyed.
I wanted to inform you as soon as possible, in the next time I'll update you better, but I' have seen the CNN channel so you should know well the situation.
Bye now, see you in the next hours...

Our thoughts are with you. I sent a PM to Robirob too, but I saw that his wife had posted on epocaravan since the earthquake, so they must be safe too.
Take care.

I heard from Rob; he and his wife are indeed fine. They felt the quake and were frightened but not hurt.
Riccardo, I am not in California, I am in Illinois. I was fortunate enough that when I lived in Cape Girardeau along the New Madrid fault line that it was quiet.
We are thinking of those suffering in your country though.

Ok, last news before going to sleep, if it could be possible!
500 people dead, 100.000 people has lost home, to 1000 persons underground, waiting for somebody who keep them safe.
Everybody will wait for two or three years before sleep in a house with a bed, a bathroom, a shower.....two years before rebuiliding!
Thank you for your listening, for your answering, for your hearth!

Riccardo,
We are very happy that you and our other friends in Italia are alright. How far from Castelfranco was the centre?

I am so sorry to learn of the earthquake that has stricken Italy and its beautiful people and fine old buildings. I live in California and feel for you. I am keeping the people of Abruzzi in my thoughts and hope that the rescues are swift.

tanx so much!! We are watching every day terrible images about the people's pain
and all what they have lost for ever.
Really terrible!
Tank you very much for your asking, we hope to help Abruzzo( the state where the earthquake has hit )!
Barak Obama too said he wants to help us!
I don't know nothing about him, but I hope he will change the world we live in, just like another one person, very similar, Martin Luther King!
He has a dream, we too!
