Eastern European Camping

I came across this blog by accident and it makes for interesting reading. Towards the bottom are a number of pictures of how camping is/was managed in Eastern Europe, including some shots of the Prespol/Cadet.

For those that are familiar with the VW Type 181 "Thing", the green military car shown is the old East German Trabant version of the Type 181. I drove one at a VW show in Germany and the big joke was that, with 4 fully equipped soldiers on board, it's maximum speed was about 50 KPM (30 MPH)
The Trabant sedan not only had space for a spare tire, it also had a cradle for a spare engine in the back....

Good Spot... Actually I was looking for the Prespol-126, aka Cadet when I found that blog. Very good quality pics.
