Saw another drop in gas and decided to fill up the tv and head out of town and camp for a couple of days.
We are going to Brannen Island State Recreation Area (California). It is supposed to rain a bit, but what the heck we are getting outta Dodge!
We are new enough at this that we learn on every trip.

Have fun! And know when you get home, you won't have wet canvas to deal with. Camping in the rain is no longer a big deal, in fact the rain drops on the roof is kinda relaxing.
