Egg Camper put to bed for the winter.

Since my wife is recovering from two fractured vertebrae, instead of wintering in the Egg Camper, as planned, we will be waking up our Kodiak. It has two very nice & comfy recliners the like of which my wife spent a couple of months in, night & day, because she was in too much pain to use the bed. One vertebra is partially healed (think that fracture happened last year). The other was surgically repaired. She's doing well, is in physical therapy, is using the bed again, and is resuming some of her normal activity. Next spring we'll put the Kodiak to bed and wake up the Egg Camper.

With the fresh water tank inside all you would need would be to keep the electric heat on or install some propane heat and use it year round. The c/g are empty in the winter, course I'm not as far north as you are but you guys head south in your Kodiak, why not in your egg?

The Kodiak is for comfort for my wife with her fractured back. Until that happened we were planning on taking the Egg Camper. There is NO comfortable seating in an Egg Camper and no space to put in something comfortable. The bed wouldn't be a problem but the seating would.

I forgot about her healing process, maybe you will be able to winter in the Egg at sometime in the future, take care.

Hope Grace feels better soon. That's an awful thing to have.
I have seen several people who have smaller campers for weekend and short trips and bigger campers for long trips. I am not surprised that you will be using the bigger one for an extended time. Hope the recovery goes well.

Comfort comes first! Glad the Kodiak has options that make that possible. Hoping Grace has a quick and uneventful recovery.
