Just 80 miles up the road here in Georgia. I am still having the husband pinch me.
Small world it is. I saw my egg at the SE -N Georgia Gathering May 19-21,2006, Bald Mountain Park, Georgia. Bob & Judy were in our ralley group.

Year round "sorta", "kinda", maybe. It can get cold here. Not cold to compare with our northern firiend's standards, but here in the north east par,t I have seen a full week in the single digits. You have to winterize your egg's pipes. The forcast is for sleet & freezing rain this week on Wed. & Thur. Yuck!
I usualyl do about a 400 mile trip to Florida in the winter to just sit in the warm sun.

Susan, Bill&Pat, Benita, Dan and others...we need to start thinking about a Georgia rally. Even if our Cadet isn't completed it will still tow where we need to go!

Hello Don, We're finding that all you have to do is mention a rally on this forum and the fiberglass will be there. tho someone does have to start and commit to the initial idea and
get things rolling.
I nominate you to start the Georgia rally and the rest of us will chime in. Anyone second the motion? Bill

I move we give someone in Ja-Jaw a chance to show off! Okay, okay, but I know nothing about campgrounds in Ja-Jaw since I haven't been doing it in mucho years. During May we have a graduation and a vacation trip planned so that month is out for us. I need to coordinate several calendars, but it can be done.
When do the Corps of Engineers campgrounds open around Lake Alatoona? Maybe the end of April? Everyone needs to think about like places and likely dates.
Also, what sort of place do you want for a campground? Lots of goodies and putt-putt golf? Full hookups? What sort of activities?
Someone will need to oversee a Saturday potluck and maybe a wine and cheese welcome, etc. How about a Saturday or Sunday morning pancake breakfast? (I like to eat when camping.)
Okay, start pitching the ideas.

Hi Susan (and Tom),
Glad to see that you're back in the loop right away; proving you can't keep true devotees eggless for long. You didn't miss a beat!
We are planning to wander the south Atlantic coast during April. If the "Georgia II" rally hatches we would love to tour your new Mansion and again both give and partake of wine tasting and potlucking.
Des & Diane
