eggless no more!

We FINALLY bought a scamp! Super nice and will get some pics soon. Currently towing it home and one axle hub seems to run warmer than the other (not hot)....is that normal? I watched him grease it before we left....hopefully we make it the remaining 3 hours home!

Unless the hub is HOT, I wouldn't be concerned. Variations in the road, tires, etc. can result in warmth. If you are touching with your hand, it would need to be almost too hot to touch (IMHO) to matter. This was from experience with our Burro. Of course, a Scamp hub may be a bit different.

By the way... Congrats!

Kool. If you can't fry an *** on the hub, it's OK.

yea for Cricket. Glad to hear you finally found your egg (and just in time for Easter). You might just have to call her your Easter Egg. LOL pictures please - wondering what model you ended up with.

Here it is! 2005 13' Scamp with the bunks up front! In awesome condition in and out and although I had a name all picked out, it was already named "Skip" so we might have to keep it!

What a great "egg" for the kids to find in the morning! They were in bed by the time we go home.....

Holy cow!!! I was beginning to wonder if you were ever going to find an egg. Looks great and I bet you're now looking back at some of those ones you looked at thinking, thank God I didn't buy any of those

Ron, looked at a 1972 Boler American this morning before we left town. The difference between the two is not even comparable! "Skip" is super clean, super shiny, pulled home awesome and came from the nicest people we've ever dealt with....we are super happy with the whole thing!

What a great find. I know how happy you must be. Fabulous that it fits in your garage. Don't forget to put the vent down if you back her out of the garage...unless of course you want a new one.

Unfortunately, that is not in my garage. the picture, was from the original owner. It fit in his car port. I am NOT certain it will fit in my garage. The kids were super excited to find the giant egg the Easter Bunny left. That alone made it worth the 10 hours on the road yesterday!

Good for you! Remember, things happen for a reason. All you struggled through brought you to find this perfect egg.

This is actually the egg we found in November. The owners were not in a hurry to sell it And agreed to hold it until we can get out there to look at it. Super nice people! If the rest of the eggs community is this nice I'm really glad we're on board!
