Have a great time! Are you going to attend the VW show, Funfest, in Effingham,IL? We saw a Boler there a couple of years ago, but the guy was not very talkative and did not seem to know about his camper.

Ooh, nice! We have a '69 Autostickshift and a '68 VW pickup, neither of which can be shown at this point. We did show our Eurovan last year with our Uhaul hooked up.

I am not sure we are going this year. I think we are tied up. Our granddaughter was born on the weekend of the Effingham show, so that has now made our annual trip there not definite anymore.

I had a 1967 Karmann Ghia convertible as a lad, but in the Michigan salt is just sort of went away. I knew it was time when the doors jammed when the top was down.

Now I have put in the second beaker and have 2 circuits and no more 12 & 110. Now everyone can breathe a little easier.

I got to work today and the bug is lowered and with the tongue being so heavy I will have to have air shocks and disk brakes. That's the next project. Oh and I have a stroker motor for it too.

This is part of the intake vent. There is also an opening under the AC unit to allow fresh air to enter from the bottom.

I still need to put some trim around the unit because the old one must have been a little larger.

The intake and exhaust are separated by a piece of plywood and insulated with the aluminum coated bubbles. Under the bottom there is a mud flap that helps to keep the hot air from recirculating.

Curtain rod wire? So where do I find me some? I have the top for them all and the bottom for the door only.

I found mine on ebay. It shipped from England. Someone may have other solutions; I remember someone found it elsewhere, but I don't remember where.
