I got to work today and the bug is lowered and with the tongue being so heavy I will have to have air shocks and disk brakes. That's the next project. Oh and I have a stroker motor for it too.

This is part of the intake vent. There is also an opening under the AC unit to allow fresh air to enter from the bottom.

I still need to put some trim around the unit because the old one must have been a little larger.

The intake and exhaust are separated by a piece of plywood and insulated with the aluminum coated bubbles. Under the bottom there is a mud flap that helps to keep the hot air from recirculating.

Curtain rod wire? So where do I find me some? I have the top for them all and the bottom for the door only.

I found mine on ebay. It shipped from England. Someone may have other solutions; I remember someone found it elsewhere, but I don't remember where.

In my notes from some time ago I have "Levelor curtain wire" at Home Depot. I never actually found or bought any. What I did was throw away all the originals because they were no good and some were missing. I then got some 1/4" steel rod, cut it to the right length, hammered the ends flat on an anvil [everyone has an anvil, don't they] bent the ends as necessary, drilled holes for the screws. We only use a top rod. The first rod I made for the rear window I made it out of steel brake line as it was easier to flatten, but just recently replaced it with the solid rod.
