Erika ???

She may be coming our way although we do not believe she will pack much of a punch by the time she shows up-if she shows up... however... the scamp will be ready to go as hubby just surprised me with a new accessory: a 4000 watt generator!

Woo hoo! We are ready for Erika if she comes! Now tomorrow off to gas up the cars and lay in a couple of bags of ice and cat food. We have beer, rum, and pop tarts so really what else is there to do but watch the reports and wait??

We have a trip to Florida planned for three weeks from now. Hope all is well for you folks. I've always got beer, rum and pop tarts on hand. Looks like I'm good to go!!

How great to have this "bug-out" ability with an RV. We have been so focused on the fires here on the west coast, I hadn't even noticed Erica. So, best wishes from the left coast, let's hope any possible roar just becomes a meow.

Be safe! Let us know how it goes. BTW, we'll take any of your rain....

With any luck, the weather that flooded Oahu a few days ago will come our way; let's keep our fingers crossed.

Just a drip....

Regardless of the spaghetti plots that looked like an episode of etch a sketch gone wild,
Erika will end up being just a drip....so thankfully no bugging out this time...I have already started on the pp tarts.....

This is good news. Breathing a sigh of relief (and enjoy those pop tarts)

South Florida could use the rainfall, north Florida is saturated and does not need it. Florida is approaching 10 years without a major hurricane, a record.

Erika is presently has wind speeds less than a tropical storm.
