I was just out on the Escape Trailer Site and noticed that they are advertising a discount on the 17' and the 5.0!!! I just missed out on a sale when I ordered mine - so don't drag your feet if you're thinking of buying - they don't come around that often!!
Now, how did you know I'd read this post It's tough to say no, believe me. I have to be strong. But, time is marching on.... two years, 7 months, 30 days 'til retirement!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEN, I'll have a new 5.0

If it were me at that point of planning, I'd make sure there was one paid for, sitting in the driveway, packed and ready to go for that first day of retirement.
Hi: Donna... I too was gonna wait till I retired to buy a 5.0...but you know I figgered I wouldn't be able to afford it any better if n I wasn't workin, than I can now and the deal was too good to refuse!!! So we git ta use it fer a few more years for summer holidays befour the BIGGY TRIP into retirement. I've had some sleepless nights in this "Credit Crunch" but not in "The Escape Hatch".

Groan, you guys are killing me! Why do you think anytime I'm around Reace and Tammy my credit cards and checkbook are locked up. It's real tempting. But it's not just the 5th wheel, I'll need a new truck too for retirement.
Besides, I like my 16 foot Scamp, it suits my purpose to a "T" right now. I have to finish school, and get my daughter through high school first. THEN, I can start thinking about retirement and all that other stuff. Right now, I'm tired... just waiting for the "re" part.
