Escapes to New York

We pulled into a gas station outside Rapid City, SD last Saturday and saw this rig gassing up. Two brand-new Escape 17's and one 19. The driver told us he was delivering them to customers in New York state.

Sweet....somebody is getting excited.

Kind of neat to see the differences in the 17's. Geeze you mean the build sheet includes the brake lights on the back?

You would be surprised whats all on the standard build sheet as well as the optional build sheet! It why anyone ordering new from them has a tough time deciding on what they want vs need LOL - some might say to many options! LOL Every time a new owner does a modification and goes to a fiberglass trailer meet others see it and decide they want the same and ask the factory to do it for them - thus the reason the optional list has grown so long in a very short time frame. Some of those owner modifications have also ended up on the standard list as well. It also the reason so many people here enjoy the experience of purchasing from Escape as no two trailers are likely to be the exactly the same and it arrives already personalized right from the factory!

If owner is planning on mounting a bike rack on the back, the high-mount brake lights ensure visibility.

Hi: reetired... Every one of those Escapes has "Different stripes ...for different folks". That's the way they build 'em.

Is it an optical illusion? The three trailers look different in size. Could it be a 15', a 17', and a 19'? Raz

Raz - it's an illusion caused by camera angle. I did a walk-around and the two single-axle trailers were clearly labeled 17's and appeared the same size up close. I talked to the driver for a few minutes and he said he thought Escape hadn't built a 15 for a long while. I do notice that the two 17's in my photos have different sized side windows. Must be another option.

That 19 is ours! Along for the ride was a 17 (no bathroom so has a bigger window) bound for Vermont and a 17 (has a bathroom with smaller window) bound for West Virginia. We have the bike rack for the back and felt adding the extra lights for the back was a good safety. Don't want anyone running into the back of our Hobbit House! We hooked up and tested out the lights before taking off, and I must say the back of the trailer lights up like a Christmas tree when you hit the brakes! She rides like a dream behind our Pilot.

Wow! Great that you saw this thread! That is a fine-looking trailer. Nancy and I admired it for awhile at that gas station and wish we could have toured the inside. Hope you really enjoy the trailer and hope you will continue to check out Fiberglassrv.

I just showed Jules the length of the trailer carrying the trailers. She read the title...and said"oh hell what did you buy now?" They won't be able to get that huge truck up here!

Hmm....is that an implied okay?

Thanks Dave and Nancy we will visit the forum more often! If you ever get this far east we would love to give you a tour. Had to immediately spend the first night in it and I may just move in there permanently.

Thanks again for posting your photos of our Adirondack Escape, we have been having so much fun with it we forgot to give you a tour of the inside. We hope we have attached a few photos of it correctly.

Thank you for sharing the pics. That is one beautiful trailer. The countertops and table are especially eye-popping. I can see why so many on this forum are buying new Escapes.

Believe it or not, I was just coming home from shopping in Spearfish a couple of days ago and spotted two more Escapes heading east on a flatbed on I-90. Didn't get a long look, but one was a fifth-wheel and the second one was either a 19 or 21. May have been the same truck that delivered yours.
