Expecting fun

We head out tomorrow to park our Trillium at a wonderful northern lake for a week or so. Taking a tent for the three grandboys (aged 13, 12 and 10) and LOTS of food! Two of the boys lost everything they owned in the High River, Alberta flood and have been living with friends ever since. Camping with us will put some 'normal' back in their lives.

Grand parents are the greatest treasure there is. I thank God everyday that my son has grown up with a loving grandma. You are doing something absolutely wonderful for those boys. Enjoy every moment and maybe a new photo album or scrapbook can be a start at accumulating new stuff.

According to my son, the twinkles and energy drinks come right after the pizza and video games.... Which grandma plays better than I do LOL
