Fantastic Vent, which makes the fan of the same name, was recently sold to Attwood. I was curious to see how their fantastic customer service had fared.
Today I got the chance. I ordered an Ultrabreeze vent cover for use in the rain and Amazon shorted me the installation hardware package.
A call to Amazon assured me that they would reimburse me for the hardware, but I was on my own to get it if I didn't want to ship the whole thing back, which seemed like a dumb idea.
So, I was relieved that a call to Fantastic Vent customer service has a free set of hardware winging its way to my house.
How much should I tell Amazon that I paid for it?
