FG owner missing in Montana

My wife called this news item to my attention. A Tulsa man name Mark Bennett is missing near Missoula, along with his 2 dogs and trailer (looks like 16 Casita to me, but maybe a Scamp). Anyone living up that way, keep your eyes peeled.

Mike, this same story is flying around the molded groups on Facebook. We're all hoping it's a lack of cell phone connection issues. From what I understand cell phones don't work well in (most) places in the areas he (may) have gone.

Everyone is keeping their fingers crossed for a good outcome, and it's truly a connection issue. Keeping eyes peeled and spreading the word is always a good thing

Cell service in that area has come a long way since I lived there. But there are some very remote areas where he could be outta cell service, but still weird he hasn't checked in. Hopefully he's enjoying a off the beaten path lake and will soon be found.

It's all over FB, both in my feed as well as all the groups I belong to.
Unfortunately there is a hiker outta Glacier that has been missing for a couple of months now. So sad, the wilderness up there can be un-forgiving.........

The hiker in Glacier was hiking alone and was new to the area. Not a good formula for sucess.

He has been found

The latest news on this story is he has been located and sadly it is believed he died of natural causes.

Oh, how sad! But where he was found, is a very beautiful area. I hope that brings comfort to his family that he passed enjoying such beauty!

It sounds like he was found outside of Missoula Montana near Placid Lake. He was discovered at his trailer (Scamp I believe) by some mountain bikers.

That's unfortunate news. But at least his family has an answer.

What a way to go, though... out in your trailer, camping in a beautiful spot.

+1. I should be so lucky, as opposed to living through a debilitated state before passing.
