Fiber Stream never had a manual. There was a one page, two sided spec sheet that owners received with their new RV. All other documentation consisted of the appliance manuals from the suppliers.

This is a fact sheet shown on eBay as part of the sale of a 1981 trailer.

Exclamation

I see they had their ad copy writers constantly updating the sheet. Ken Hildner gave me a copy of his, which I compared to the one that came with mine. It is interesting to see the different labels given to that narrow space between the refrigerator and the door, where the last 8" of wheel well sticks out & has to be covered with something.

1. Mine said, "Drawers", but I had a vertical open bin, to which I added a hinged lid.
2. Ken's said, "Magazine Rack", which explained the bin.
3. This one says, "Rack for Fishing Rods, Guns, or Magazines"
and this 1981 trailer has the drawers!

I think these are great to have, if only for entertainment, but even for real information (such as correct frame and hitch height).

I did notice the changing standards over the last couple of decades: the Fiber Stream people apparently thought that the trailer was light enough to be towed by a VW Rabbit! Even at the unattainable 1600 lb, assuming someone was traveling with no luggage, that's too much. It's not just Fiber Stream - everyone did it.

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.
