"Fun with Fiberglass" in January Trailer Life

There is a feature article in the January issue of Trailer Life about fiberglass RVs.

Molded fiberglass article in Trailer Life

I was glad to see the article but very disappointed in the content. I just sent off an email to the editor about all the omissions. Hope they print it but not holding my breath.

I also noted that the Nest was previewed in the article. I wonder if that means they are now for sale ? Hope one shows up at Bandon if not earlier at Waterloo. Lee

I saw it in the store yesterday here but couldn't part with $4.99 for it. I had saw that "Dub Box" online just the day before and, not sure what I think: Dub Box USA |Dub Box USA | Fiberglass Campers| Food Carts | Event Carts

I wonder how they chose which to have in the article, was every manufacturer asked, etc. since there a couple missing or more.

It's not preschool. Not everybody gets a share.
The editors determine what is likely of interest to their readers and will draw eyeballs to the ads. Nothing else matters.

Gotta sell monthly issues and yearly subscriptions. Content is what sells magazines and the editors must pimp what they believe is of interest to their audience.

It's all about the sales numbers as that's what sets the ad rates and the advertisers money pay a lot of the bills.

I know that Escape advertises in every issue so they were sure to be in the article. Scamp and Casita have advertised and list themselves in the yearly Buyer's Guide. Lil' Snoozy doesn't do either and they weren't listed. Thinking it through, it is obvious and makes sense to only review people that advertise with the company.

Gosh, the magazine is about 80% ads. Sadly, it won't be long and paper magazines will be history.

Another factor is which companies contact the magazine and provide photos and information for an article.
We know that some make no effort.
