Oh, darn. My UHaul is from the 80s. We had a guy over at uhaulcamper.com briefly who helped make them.

Some Burros were made in the '70s. We had one before the UHaul.

Looks like something I will be watching for.

Hi Matt

What cool endeavour. As a newbie to the fibreglass trailer world, I'm looking forward to see the final product.

We don't have a manual for the actual trailer, but we do have a ratty copy of the original stove manual. Is this anything that would be of help?

Hi Matt. I think you might want to add the Triple E Surfside to your list. A Trillium knockoff, it was made in the latter half of the 1970s. At least one of the Northern Oregon gathering regulars has one in nice condition. (We have one as well, but not in so good a shape.)

It the past, on this forum there has been a discussion with the designer/owner of play-Pac?

And the owner of Team Trillium, in an arrangment with escape trailers now, was the vice -president of the original Trillium manufacturer, I my memory serves me correctly? Hope this helps.

Matt,
I am waiting for the finished video. You should add Hunter Industries, Chattsworth, Ca to you list.

Hunter I, Compact Jr., Compact II, etc.

We saw a Boler from the early 70's today at the VW show in Effingham, IL. I took pix and recommended the guy join here. I don't know if he will but I will post pix in the sightings section after I download them.

I guess I should give everyone a quick update. I have been able to contact people associated with the manufacturing of the following trailers:

Boler Canada
Boler American
Eco
Love Bug
Scamp
Perris Pacer
El Macho
Trillium
Play Pac

Here are the top 3 things I am looking for right now:
  1. Name of the person who started Cloud 9 is St Cloud MN. Any information about Cloud 9 would be helpful.
  2. Name of the person who started Casita in Backus MN
  3. Info on following companies:

    Vanguard Trailers - Winfield, BC
Midhurst Fiberglass - 151 Tiffin Street Barrie ON
    Advanced Fiberglass - ? ON
    Minit - Southern California
    Tote N Tarry - ?
    Trek - ?

This sounds like it's going to be VERY interesting Matt! If nothing else, you know you've got a website FULL of people here who'd LOVE to see the finished product!
