Thumbs up

Hey everyone, I FINALLY got ALL my Festive Season Lights up. Turned out to be a rather nice display although it seems a bit more compact compared to most of my neighbours displays.

...Be honest now, does it need 'something'?

What do you think?

I think a Red Bow toward the bottom will do the trick.

My family (The rottens, dogs and cat) went out in the wilds and got our tree. It's a bit old fashioned, but they enjoy it so.

We went with a traditional native Californian tree this year. I thought it best.

We decorated a russian thistle one year. When my Dad (who grew up on a farm in Saskatchewan) saw it, he was totally HORRIFIED.
Another year we decorated a coat rack... Nobody liked it.
Now we have a daughter, so we get a scraggly spruce tree every year, and fill it up with 36 years worth of accumulated ornaments until it looks nice and full.

We were'nt going to put up a tree this year since our daughter in law is having Christmas at her house.
But..but..but.. everyone expects to see it ...so there it is
and it does look pretty good too.Just wouldn't be right without it.

Wow, Doug. I have to say, it is definitely better than the lights I put up this year.

We did put up a few red bows around here so if you want to borrow one (as Fred suggested), lemme know. But I wouldn't get too bunched up about it; I kinda like the minimalist display myself.
