Great, no internet reservations and no toll free #? Not sure how that's an improvement, lol.

I believe that applies to the transitional period Phil:

"We expect to have the new reservation system operational in early 2011.
During the transition period to the new reservation service, there will be some limitations with our system."
and
"During the transition period (November 1 to early 2011) park users will not be able to make a reservation through our internet or call centre for any car camping or interior sites."

Lets see what the new year brings!

Thanks Roy,

I understood that. I guess I didn't make my point clearly enough that leave it to the government, upon receiving complaints that their service was lacking, instead of implementing improvements when they are ready, they have chosen to actually make it WORSE for 5 MONTHS before implementing any improvements. Can you imagine a private company working like that? lol

Hey Phil, IKWYM, board rules say are we are supposed to keep politics out of it.

Maybe by camping season I'll have my new dual monitor system figured out. In the mean time, I'm feeling a little dyslexic

Roy,

Arms length government agencies like parks Canada and the provincial parks are by their very nature a-political. They are run by bureaucrats not politicians - the staff does not change because of an election. No mention was ever made of anything political so there is no need to police this thread, thanks.
