Fire in Lake Isabella, CA

I am hoping that forum member John Perry (who lives in Lake Isabella) is OK. The fire has burned 30,000 acres, is 0% contained. Two people have died and 3 firefighters have been injured. More than 100 homes lost.

John is a former Lil Bigfoot owner and a thoughtful individual who responded to many questions about our axle replacement, and helped talk us through the process.

Truly tragic and hope all members in the area are safe. I just read where the fire is less than 10% contained...

I did get a PM from John, who says the fire is a few miles away from him, and the wind is currently not aimed at his home. Glad to hear this, but of course things change quickly and there is already awful loss in that area...
