Check how the door fits - no sags and fully closes at the bottom. Look for signs of floor rot. Easiest to see from underneath (bring a throw rug to lay on and a flash light).

Mireille, smells? If they've used a strong air freshner, the seller may be trying to disguise odors from pets or mold, or...

It was a big YES...

The Boler is not perfect, but I can live with it's little faults (no refrigerator, no furnace). It was repainted all white (iniatially green and white) but it's OK, The one thing I'm very good at, is painting.

The seller did a great job when he made his reno. The floor is still the original one (fiberglass), and the underbelly of the beast is like new. The door fits perfectly and the windows look Ok. No messy caulking around, no dry rubber...
It was clean and simple...Oh and DH liked the hubcaps

but...I have to sell my campervan before...

Are the owners going to hold it for you, until you sell your camper van or? When you get it, post pictures. I love seeing the trailers out there. Gives me more ideas for ours

That seems like a pretty premium price, so it should be just about perfect.

Comparisons if you have not seen this.

Yeah...I have seen those prices...
In the western part of Canada Boler are at least 25% cheaper. Not to many fiberglass rv in the east and most of them are in that range of price. Usually between 3500 (no more kitchen) to 8900$ (fully renovated). They are pricy little toys around here. But they do retain their value. Those prices have been fairly stable for the past 5 years (slightly on the rise).

But you are right, fot that price it has to fit the bill perfectly (at least for us)

Mireille,

If this doesn't work out, you can always cast an eye across the provincial border to Ontario - there are perhaps more for sale there, and you might consider other makes - I have a Trillium 1300, '74, in very good condition, fridge, furnace and stove in good working order, solid floor, no leaks - I paid $4,500 for it in Newfoundland, where the FG eggs are indeed few and far between and the prices accordingly high. Here's a link to today's Kijiji Ontario Trillium listings...

Thank you. Good idea. Ontario is not that far...
And I hope to visit your province with the new RV.
It's the first long trip on our list !

You're welcome here anytime - Newfoundland is truly one of those Last, Best Places. Just be prepared to leave a little piece of your heart behind when you head home...

When you and your family head down this way, drop me a P.M. and let me know if there's anything we can do for you...always a feed of fish and brewis on the go for new friends...

Thomas as been pointed out the prices in BC are lower due to volume of them in the West vs the East - 4500 km is the difference. But the one they are looking at sure looks nice and clean on the inside and updated vs many of the ones for not that much less in BC.
