Well....it IS a Scamp...you could have walked it in there. :-)

Seriously, nice job! Did you use the "hand on the bottom of the steering wheel" method, or...just watch what was happening and adjust according?

Yes put hand at bottom turned very slowly..talking to myself the whole time out loud mind you. Got out probably 3-4 times always concerned I was going to hit the new one on my right side! Also might add there is a slight bump to go up! Woohoo was I so excited! Thank you for the cheers and 10 Donna!

Woot, Woot! Good job! Doesn't it feel good to accomplish that? Such a good feeling!

One thing I do that helps is to put a orange cone where I want to back into and stop. Then I just aim my tire for the cone.

I have been backing up trailers for over 20 years and I still suck. If I get it in right the first time I'm OK, if I dont then it all sucks and I am lucky to get it in at all. I just dont seem to get better. Of course I have short wheel base tugs and even shorter trailers.

Glad it went all good for you.

Its funny that this thread is here, I had to bring my Scamp into a local Uhaul to have the bearings checked (only God knows how long its been) and repacked.
Because my subdivision doesn't allow trailers to be parked on the property my Scamp had to fit into my garage, and it did by about 1/4 of an inch from top to bottom.
When I returned I had to park it myself. My house is below street level so I have to go down a hill to park the Scamp.
Well I got it down, unhooked it and walked it in, LOL.
Boy was I a happy camper, my wife was thoroughly impressed (she was at work).
