My Potty, My shower, My furnace, My air conditioning, my Queen Sized Bed, my cook top, High Definition TV, my WiFi enabled personal Computer, the things I like to eat (Hay - Did I leave anything out?)
Another scale with another resolution:

- Camping in a tent
- Camping in a tent-trailer
- Camping in an egg
- rv in an egg <<< I am here
- RV with slid-outs
- RV with semi TV and many slid-outs

George.
Actually there is a scale which is used by those who design campgrounds etc in provincial/state/county etc parks:

1) Hikers/bicyclists with backpack & pup tents
2) Families tenting ( this is often split into 2 groups as
2(a) Families traveling and tenting for financial reasons
2(b) Families tenting for nature experience reasons
3) tent-trailers
4) small, basic hard-siders
5) upscale hard siders and class C mohos
6) Class A mohos
7) top of the line mohos, towing cars etc behind the moho

the level of service expectation is different at each step.

Backpackers do not expect to have power and cable and i-net etc, while
level 7 - Sooper-Dooper 40 foot diesel pushers with a new luxury car hitched on the back do not expect to need to need washrooms/showers, but do expect water, sewer hookups, 50 Amp service, large turning areas, pull-thru sites, cable, internet, etc, etc

It is mix of site types that is difficult to get right and as things like fuel prices change, if the mix changes, then you wind up with an ineffective campground.

Then you fall back on the principle of doing just 2 types of sites - those aimed at approx level 3-4 as they can be used by levels 1-4 equally well and those catering to level 7 as they can be used by all, but are the most expen$ive to build

As a result we carry a sat dish, Verizon wireless Internet, a great radio and phones. It allows us to choose to on the edge of a canyon in no where Texas, or watching our home state basketball team......

We think we have it all, the wonderous world of travel or any part of the busy world we want to participate in.

In my case it allows me to be on this forum....
