What's not to like? I've still have a Pinto, one of the ten best cars ever made! IMAO.

True, but it kept Ralph Nader employed after the demise of the Corvair.

Gawd! I love the handshake agreement. There's something really upclose and personal about it.

The Citation and the Corvair were both "Car of the year"... magazine writers think "bore and stroke" is something you do to readers.

I believe the Corvair was Chevys answer to the Bug and the Citation, Chevys answer to the Rabbit? Or was it the K car?

Corvair was Chevy's attempt at a Porsche,
and the X-Body....
only 18 months from idea to production, something like 50 recalls in the first model year. The steering column could actually tear out of the firewall.
It was a rush to compete which with Japaneze front drive cars which helped to reenforce their exaggerated image of superior quality.

Is it in some way difficult to do so?
Are they vicious or do they just follow you around?

Fords

I like Can-Am RV. Their website offers a lot of insight in to what's possible, the effectiveness of aerodynamics, towing with a Ford Taurus, towing a 23' trailer with slideouts with a VW Jetta,......

If you're interested check out their 'hitch' and 'towing' sections, it's an education.

Then take Yoda's advice... Don't try , do!
Of course they are junk when you're buying... but they're "Creampuffs" when you get them back to the lot!

Enough digression

This topic was split from the damaged Casita thread because it had nothing to do with a damaged Casita.
