Hi Jim, there are web sites where you can post what you want moved from where to where and when. People make you offers on charges. I found them searching, the posts are primarily for moving tractors etc.

It would be nice if someone wanted to make a round trip. The trailer you are looking at is here in Toronto and the Quantum 5th I'd like to have is posted here for sale is located in central California. Just shy of 4300 Km one way.

3 days drive could get me 1/2 way to meet somebody.

Hey ... I just remembered, Raya likes to drive. I wonder if she is up to the task?

Hmmmm, I live in the greater Toronto area, but it seems to me all the interesting trailers for sale of late have been on the west coast (if not west of the Mississippi, at least)...life's like that, I guess.

Yes it always seems like all of the owners on one side of the continent decide to sell their trailers at once to new owners on the other side of the continent... and then in a couple of years all those owners sell them back to their original owners. I seem to always be in the wrong place too...

As far as trailer delivery, that's always a tough one... even folks who deliver trailers typically charge a dollar a mile or more... that adds up pretty quickly.

The first trailer that I bought was in Oregon. The second one was in Florida. We live in the San Diego, CA. And the folks that bought our first one was in the Alabama. So far we've traveled more miles picking up our purchases than having fun with them although that's been an adventure too.

Yep, same here

Say jim, you say "standard garage," but I think you may end up playing a game of inches here, and it would probably be helpful if you measured your "standard garage" and listed the height.

I know they're usually right around 7', but whether it's 7', or 7'1", or something else, will make a huge difference if/when it comes to a Boler clone (granted, it's more obvious for something like a Compact Jr.).

Good luck in finding your egg,

Raya

My Trillium is 7'2" so I had to build my garage with an 8' door. The other option is to do what several members do which is have a set of 12" rims with no tire, just some tape or rubber on the rim to prevent it from scratching your pad. You can shave several inches off the height of your trailer and with a floor jack and an impact hammer it's only a 5 minute job to whip them on and off.

Hello Jim,

Do you have a link to the Compact JR in Toronto? I live an hour away and I too am looking for one.
