GA state parks has some good deals for campers.
Some of the state parks have half price camping for snowbirds that are staying 30 days or more.
Half price deal.
They also have an annual pass that can pay for itself. We get a family pass each year that provides 2 free nights camping (or golf), plus 2 vehicle passes for unlimited daily visits, and free admittance for up to 6 people at many of the tours that charge a fee (like Roosevelt's little white house). The senior family pass, or Veterans family pass can actually cost less than 2 nights camping so you might get a partial refund on your reservation when you purchase one at check in.
Family pass
GA state parks even has a "specials" page where you can find specials like the current $10 per night camping at Chattahoochee Bend state park, a new park near I-85. I camped there the opening weekend a couple years ago, and while the shade trees at the sites need time to grow, it does have lots of hiking trails and access to the Chattahoochee river for kayaking.

We're not native Georgians, just moved here with the job a few years ago, but we love their state parks.
If anyone has any secret deals involving their state parks, please let us know.
