Looks like a pretty good cross-sampling already here, so won't post what I get since it is right in line with others. Doesn't seem to matter what the tow vehicle is - the end results are about the same. I do think wind resistance is the main factor,
weight coming in a close second. Reminiscing about a stick built trailer we once had - got a dismal 8 mpg average. The streamlined shape of most
fiberglass trailers no doubt contribute to a significant fuel cost savings. I get a little envious when I see someone posting that they get 18 or 20 mpg, until I look at their trailer description, which is a 13 footer. lol !!
