Get Organized

Not sure if this is a good place to post this, but here goes.
Just looking around on Pinterest today I came accross this set of pins

Pinterest

I followed several of them and thought there was some good ideas for storage and such. Some of them I have seen some of our members use.....anyway just thought I would post so that otheres might want to take a look. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Happy Camping

So far, my favorite is using the tic-tac containers for spices.

Good link.

Thanks.

Why not just buy spices in small containers so they are fresh? Then you don't have to re-label them and they retain their flavour.
I've got a collection of small containers of various ground chili peppers that should really be thrown out because they've been around too long. If I'd bought bulk, I'd have even more to throw away.

At supermarkets with bulk spices, you can buy small amounts and put them in tiny zip-top bags. All the little baggies can be arranged in a small basket or box in a drawer, and stay fresh until used up.

I really like the slide-on-a-shelf wire rack container for aluminum foil, plastic wrap, etc. Neato!

I love browsing through other people's ideas. Some appeal to me, some don't, but that just shows we all differ! My favourite organisation tip is to downsize and avoid storing things that aren't necessary. The second is to keep things that are used a lot in the handiest spots and the things that are essential but rarely used in less convenient spots.

Just a reminder. We can find organization tips that have previously been posted by FGRVrs by going to the Search button and entering "organization" in the Google Search window at the bottom. Good organization tips are always welcome!
