I'd go for 1930's green on the bottom, buff or almond on the top, and a burnt sienna belly band trim. Since cost is no object I'd order a new toyota fj cruiser painted to match.

WooHoo, is this fun to see what you all would choose! It's a bit of an indication of your personalities and by the amount of RED chosen, we DO have a wild and crazy group here!

Keep 'em coming! This is fun!

If money was no object, I'd have Chip Foos do a mural of a lighthouse overlooking the ocean at sunset (to go with my interior lighthouse theme.) Lots of beautiful blues in the water and sky. Ahhhhh........I feel more relaxed already!

I would go with ORANGE !!
It reminds me of Autumn, my favorite time of year... AND... the trim on my teal Isuzu Amigo is orange!

But I really like the idea of a scenic mural too if I could ever decide on what to do!

I at one time wanted to paint it silver to look like an Airstream, but my son demands they both stay white, he likes to keep things "OEM" as he says!!!

I think... I might just sneak a big painted yellow sunny side up yolk on the roof of mine though!

Byron, I have to admit that I did a search when I saw your color choice! At first I wondered if there was a mysterious combination of purple and green, a cool paint that separates and allows the complimentary colors to emerge. Ha! Was I wrong!

I love the color shown in this photo:

purpleen

The purple really shows beautifully in this one:
more purpleen

I saw different textures, however, which could be veddy cool!

Thanks for posting purpleen, it would be wonderful on our eggs!
Especially, for my Faberge Egg!

Cheers!

Hey, Sandra, I couldn't find any murals Chip Foos has done. This is his bio,
chip foos

Sounds like he is an icon.

I had a party dress in purpleen when I was a girl. I didn't know what it was called until now. It was gorgeous!

We must be the same age, Suz! I had a few bridesmaids dresses of the same. The mysterious tone on tone is pretty cool.

I did a wall treatment about 15 years ago, before they were the rage. I had a beautiful old home with an incredible stain glass window with this magnificient shade of pink/purple. Well, I looked at color chips from the paint store to try to match this so I could paint the walls. After some searching without luck, I decided to mix my own. Well, 5 gallons later...and the perfect shade of pink, I was ready to apply my paint. Much to my surprise as the paint dried, it bagan to have these lovely lighter streaks throughout. It was a beautiful surprise and I kept it! In my efforts to get just the right shade, I inadvertently added 1 quart of red oil based paint!

My mistake turned into a nice effect. I wonder what the new owners of that house did with the remaining 4 gallons of that fushia pink paint?

You're close. I believe that the correct term is "Chromalusion", that's what Dupont calls it.
