I guess "roughing it" means you can't drive the limo up to the tent door/flap. Do they have a smaller tent for the maid and butler?

I didn't know I was in vogue when shopping at the "Tuesday Morning" store and found 500 thread count Egyptian Cotton sheets and a SILK blanket for the King size bed in the Fiber Stream.

I like the term "Swanking" better...swanky camping.
Each day Swanking I get up, unshaven, unshowered, teeth unbrushed, hair a mess, put on yesterday's clothes, make coffee and poor it into an unwahsed cup and drink it with my pinky in the air.
Bet you can't wait to meet me at a rally now!

Hey Roger, There is a couple in NC. that caters to the Appalachian Trail hikers. by hauling their equipment ahead and fixing healthy meals for them. For about 10,000 bucks they help you get from GA. to ME. 2100 miles. All you have in your pack is water, lunch and phone. Well you may need a few more items, you know like about 10 lbs.
Somehow that takes the misery out of the trip. I'm used to carrying 40-60 lbs. but it sure looks tempting except for the cash.
I once was so miserable I wanted to just carry compressed helium a bag of balloons' collapsable fishing pole and signal a chopper each morning to pick up my pack and drop it off in the evening a few miles out the trail. Oh well, maybe not Bill
