Interesting article http://www.canada.com/topics/technology/st...bb-47be861456b6

Based on some of the mods here...some members are already "glamping"

Yup! That's me! Gotta have my screen house with the fold-down sides, so I can do yoga in the AM without an audience. And got my wine opener and wine glasses.

Oh, and make sure we are camping near antique malls!

We're ahead of our time...

I thought I was approaching 'Glamper' status when I got myself a down duvet for the trailer before I even had one for at home, but I guess I'll never be a true 'Glamper' as according to the article Velcro sandals just aren't 'glam' enough.

It's nice to have a name for what we do.

I guess dutch oven cooking with things like chicken cordon blue and pizza at your camp site while you sit sipping wine in your comfy chairs is properly called glamping.

hand-rolled truffles: Robert does this.
note to self: The DARK duvet (to cover the down comforter) hides stains from spills.

Now that we are off the rocky ground and away from the various spiders that ended up in the tent last camping trip -- and don't HAVE to use the portapotties or the poison oak filled bushes as facilities--and don't get stuck waving away the bugs as we stand outside cooking (or fishing them out of the soup), I consider ANYTHING involving a trailer "Glam"ping. YAAAAY!

Although we are already way ahead of the last tent/camping experience, I think a down duvet sounds like a perfect accessory-and it's great to have a refrigerator to keep the truffles from melting all over the place too!

I thought that when we closed the tent flap and stepped into the Boler we were glamping. Now I see we need the goodies too.
Naw! I think I'll stay with just the necessities. ....corkscrew, bottle opener and a comfortable chair.

Well, let's see...we do have 400 count sheets in the camper and a memory foam topper. Does that qualify us as official glampers? Oh, and the new Paha Que screen room with the waterproof flaps for when it rains. And the zero gravity chairs are so comfy!

Sounds like glamping to me.

Better yet, why not a box? Easier to dispose of the empties.
