Going Batty

I can sure relate to you, I quit for awhile sewing ours. Still have the
big one to go.
It's time consuming doing the edging, and the foam doesn't want to
co operate and go right into the corners.
I spent two weekends looking for curtain material to match, am still
looking.
Happy sewing.

...still going

This had better be worth it! Jana – I’ll post a pic when some are done, then you can have a look :E and decide if they’re pretty - pretty good, or pretty bad.

I decided to forgo edging for the time being, so I moved on to construction of a couple of the smallest ones. Now I want to be doing edging again – it was WAY easier! I’m a fairly experienced sewer. This isn’t hard, just a lot of work.

Wilma – I totally lucked out with curtain fabric. The store had bolt ends of décor/drapery type fabrics – and I found one right away (mind you I wasn’t supposed to be shopping for the windows that trip – that’s the secret – pretend you’re trying to find something else ;) ) Actually I'm thinking of doing roman shades with the cords attached to the walls at the bottom so I can control privacy a bit better.

I'm in the same boat. I'm working on cushion covers, curtains, porta-pottie cover and some hanging organizers. When I get tired of one thing I jump to another with the result that nothing is finished. It seems never ending.

Going Batty

In the same boat here,Barb, a little of this, a little of that. Been painting and it is also a definite chore. Matching everything or at least trying to co ordinate a theme. We have blinds but I also want curtains-valance-type, using some of the upholstery material and
a lighter fabric with a pattern. I have a pattern in my head but the darn stores don't seem to know it. Keeping it so hubby doesn't think he is in a foo foo place is the problem. Maybe I should just turn it into a western bordello hideway!!!!Ha ha for hunting season.
