With us wanting to find affordable housing in the Montana Oil Patch, we purchased a 30' Jayco 5th wheel. We pick it up tomorrow and are taking it out
boondocking this weekend before Greg pulls it to Montana. Unlike our first big fifth wheel "home" in North Dakota this has an aluminum frame so dry rot from winter living won't be an issue and it has heat in the floors. I am still in Iowa but as least I will now be able to visit without renting a motel since I am not allowed in company housing. Don't want the wife/girlfriend moving in. Besides, you would have to be young and in love to endure sleeping in a single bed that shares the room with the washer, dryer and water heater. Very romantic.
Will post pics of our new home away from home soon.
