While having my morning coffee and watching the news, it was announced that a company has bought the molds for the plastic "Pink Flamingo" and will go back into production. I hope this is not just another news hype just to get everyone excited. Life is good.

Years ago I used to drive past houses on "Flamingo Road" on a regular basis. Every Christmas the roof of one of the houses there would sport a Santa in a Swimsuit with a woody-wagon-look sleigh pulled by eight tiny flamingos.

YUP saw the same on TV and availability will be around Labor Day.
When they stopped production last year I vowed I would have one of these originals not the ill made reproducions but now that the new CO. have the original molds they will again be flocks of them.
Maybe I won't get one afterall
