He's not mine, but my friends have "Bob." He goes with them to guard their campsite(s), and he does such a good job of it, he now goes to guard their hotel room(s).

I think they had to tip the maid extra just to get her to do their room. "You still got that little MAN in there?"

We have two--Curious George hangs in the front window & Smoky bear sits on the table top & guards the rear of the camper. They love to travel & have done a great job protecting our Scamp. No pics to show yet-sorry!

WOW Mary, that thing looks SPOOKY!!! I can see how it would have a protective effect!
Something about the gnomes doesn't work for me either.
No campsite guardian with me yet, though I think there will be a dog someday, just have to have a place with a yard for one first...

I USED to have a stuffed bear called "Trusty Rusty" with a camping hat and bandana (name was a nod to my old caramel colored VW Westphalia) - but the instant that the dogs saw Rusty, he became a 'stuffie' toy to be chewed and tossed about.
