I ordered a hammock from coleman.com... It's there "Weekender" model. It operates like one of the folding chairs so popular these days. It came today and I couldn't be more pleased! Very comfortable!

It is heavy and putting the hammock onto the stand did require some brute force pulling, but boy is it well made - quite a good deal for $69.99 US.
Here I am in product test mode . Can't wait to bring it on the next camping trip! Alec

Life is hard for you!

Once it is stretched together, does it ever have to come apart again?

Weight?

Gina,

If you crawled into that thing search and rescue would have to come looking for you. You'd disappear.

Going to my room now...

It was hard to put the hammock on the stand the first time, but easier now... Doesn't have to come apart - but it has a nice bag to live in if ya wanna. The weight is about 45 lbs. Heavy enough to keep you stable when your in it and make ya groan when you lift it! Alec
