Happy camper

We called Jonathan at Casita yesterday and order a new 2015 Freedom Deluxe 17. We will get it in late August. We are Happy, Happy, Happy. Now what do I do with my 1982 Burro? My tow vehicle is a 2014 Nissan Frontier with a V6 in it. Does anybody else have that tow vehicle - trailer set up and if so how is it working out for you.

I tow a 16' Scamp with a Nissan Frontier with V6 and the PRO4 x package & it pulls the Scamp just fine. My Scamp fully loaded is on the light side coming in at about 2600lbs *fully* loaded. Due to my Scamps design - its a side bath with limited storage up front so its fairly light on the tongue - with my prior tow vehicle (a cross over SUV type) the Scamps tongue weight averaged around 240lbs which resulted in a very solid tow. I found when I switched to the Frontier I needed to work at increasing the tongue weight on the Scamp more into the 11% range to get a solid tow with the Frontier to travel at highway/freeway speeds... suspect it may be due to the extra rear suspension with the PRO4 x package as well as the truck being much lighter in the rear. Casita's traditionally have a heavier tongue weight that Scamps so you may not have any issues in that regard.
