Happy Holidays Everyone

Sit back and relax and enjoy family and friends.
But keep thinking about your next camping spot for next year.
PLEASE PLEASE DON"T drink and drive
We need all the campers at the campgrounds we can get.

Our daughter and husband with their twin four year old boys are staying in the city at her brothers with their one and a half year old son and they all come charging to granparents for the daytime. The house rings with kids laughter and squeals again. The place is a madhouse of little toys and stuff. It's already the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!
May your hearts be as full as ours
Merry Christmas to all!

Merry Christmas to All - Santa's over Eastern Europe just now and will reach these shores in 2 and a half hours. Here's a wee toast for Christmas:

Here's to them that like us -
Them that think us swell -
And here's tae them that hate us -
Let's pray for them as well!

Best Wishes
Andy

May you all have a blessed holiday season. Our daughter is coming done Christmas Day to celebrate with us over Nacho Cheese soup and chili. Our son and his wife (and small addition on the way June 1) are traveling with friends to South Carolina, so we celebrated early with them and my folks last weekend in Wisconsin. It's snowing now in the Chicago area and it sure looks a lot like Christmas! Merry, Merry, Merry to everyone! (Even our VT looks festive in its blanket of white!)

Happy Birthday Boss

How many if you remember Rick O'Shay in the Sunday comic strips?
Rick was a soft on the inside Gun Fighter.
I am pushing 70 and still remember a Christmas strip of one panel. I was probably about 10 YO.
Rick was sitting on his horse looking over the majestic snow covered Rockies with the Christmas Star in the background and said, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOSS". He said it all in just 3 words.
Attached is 2 pics of the southern Sierra Nevada Mountains taken from the top of Mt. Sherman, 9760 ft elevation.
These were taken yesterday through the National Weather Service and FS cameras on top of the Mt., it reminded me of Rick O'Shay.
This is one of my favorite places to ride to in the summer.
This is truly Gods out door Cathedral.
I will add my own "Happy Birthday Boss" and wish all of you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
John

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Day, full of love & good cheer with family and friends, or maybe a quiet reflective mid-winter day!

Wonder how many FGRV gadgets & do-dads were given for gifts? We aren't big on lots gift giving, but have a few new nature books which, if not read before, will be great camping reads!

Best wishes to all for a New Year full of happy journey!

Penney & Mike
