Just follow this link.

Must be pricey...

Follow the fiberglass info link on their web page. I see some to us familiar reasonings there, such as durability... Also, those pics look quite similar to those of e.g. an Escape travel trailer in the makings!

Red face

Always wanted one like those for sure, except for the cost.

But man, wouldn't be neat having one as a tow vechicle for my Scamp, if grandkids wanted to come along.

I like leaving my trailer in the campground and exploring with my Eurovan. And our current mileage.

This rig looks very similar to the now out-of-business Chinook RV. I always stop and look whenever I see a used Chinook for sale. But even the used ones are incredibly pricey. A dealer in Colorado told me that somebody who used to be involved in producing Chinooks is now building similarly-designed RV's in Florida. This may be it.

I know a couple who bought one of these a year or so ago. It's a pretty nice unit. The interior is a little bit "typical RV" to my tastes, but it was decent typical RV anyway.

They've taken quite a few trips in it and really love it. It has slide outs but you can mostly use it with them "un-slid" if you want/need to (it's a little hard to get around the side of the bed to the bathroom).

I wasn't thinking about its not being diesel, but I was more focused on the electricals. I wonder what the builder's reasons are for going with gas?

But hey, it's molded!

Raya

PS: I think it was just under $140k

Nice looking rigs but too much overhang behind the back axle. Ford offers those cab and chasis foundation vehicles with any length wheel base at virtually the same cost so there is no reason to design one like that. Excessive overhang makes the vehicle unstable when pulling a trailer. Many people would want to be able to use the RV to pull a boat or a trailer full or ATVs or trade show items etc.

Your right Morgan and if you want to pay about $6,000.00 more you can get anyone of them in diesel. These are built in Venice, Sarasota County, Fl about 5 miles from me, we have toured the factory a couple of times. Its quality in and out and it shows in the price. Ther is another company right in the same indutrial park that made a very expensive and heavy double shell moulded fiberglass slide in truck camper and I can't think of the name but I did a thread on it here about 4 years ago. bet donna will come up with it, she always seems to be able to bails me out.
