Okay, getting a little more rested up...........lol.
Feel free to jump in anytime Eddie. All thoughts and observations welcome.
Instead of the details of my trip that got lost I'll fill in the nitty-gritty of our purchase.
And instead of the usual pics, I took mainly the mechanics type pics. Like pictures of the water heater, battery
, and charger under the bed area. The fresh water tank under the couch, and things like that. I'll try to post pics later when I can figure it out.
Okay, our version of the soon to be Lil Snoozy
I have my order page here in front of me, so I'll just go down the list.
Bracket mounted with tie downs for customer supplied generator
2.) Thetford C-200CS Cassette Toilet mounted wired and plumbed to water system. $499.00 (This was $599.00 on my list from the website)
mounted and wired with separate breaker. $149.00
4.) Fantastic Fan 8000 12 volt system. $250.00
5.) Additional Picture escape
window with blind. $399.00
6.) Additional Bedroom Window with blind. $169.00 (This was $159.00 from the website)
7.) Aluminum Mag Wheels. $195.00
8.) Rear Bumper (as seen on BAMA's Snoozy) $150.00
9.) And last, but not least, I asked about a outdoor shower fixture. They said they could do this for me but would have to give me a price later. TBD (to be determined).
Whether I use the shower fixture or not, I thought it would be good for resale, etc.
As I told Alan, you really don't plan on ever selling it, but you most likely will at some time or other. Whether to move to something else, or for health reasons. I will probably hand mine down to my son or one of my grandkids. Then again, I may get buried in it. It wouldn't be any more expensive than some caskets I've seen. eeek.
Our delivery date is set for the first of June, but Alan said they will have it the first of May. I made the comment I may be able to pick it up in May, but in June for sure. He would store it for free if I had to wait 'til June. But I think I will have to scratch the itch in May most likely.
I look forward to roll down the highways. This will be our first travel trailer.
Hopefully, the gas won't be too apprehensive by then. Not looking good right now. lol.
But, that would mean that much more planning and time spent actually "camping."
Here, I can begin camping at only ten miles from home. Then twenty miles; and then,
well, you get the picture. I may just travel the roads of the state I live in. I've always wanted to do that. But I hate the expense of motels and not knowing what shape the rooms would be in.
We logged 2,000 miles checking out the factory. 900+ one way and 1100 on the return. Our GPS wanted to see different scenery I guess. I had gone too far before I realized I was on a different path. Call it white line fever or just interstate in general.
One more note: As said before........Alan and Nicholas were just great guys.
And I saw the Pool Factory Alan used to have right next door. lol.
Hope to get the pics up for everyone.
